But don’t let the weather stop you for wearing makeup. Here are some tricks and tips you can follow to keep your makeup intact in summers.

Prep Your Skin: — Before applying any makeup, first you need to prep your skin. For this, first cleanse your face with cold water and then rub an ice cube. This will prevent any buildup of dirt and grime on face hence preventing clogged pores.

Prime Up: — To have mattifying makeup, it is best to apply some primer. There are many benefits of using a primer like it minimizes the appearance of pores and will keep your makeup in place. Primers are light -weight and help makeup to last longer. Make sure to apply it before applying makeup and right after moisturizer. For best results use oil- free primers.

Avoid Heavy Foundation: — In summers, the heavy foundation can get washed off with sweat and your makeup will end up looking cakey. So to avoid that, use a light -weight oil free mineral based powdered foundation and avoids liquid-based foundation. Then apply concealer and blush and your makeup base is done.

Water Proof Eye Makeup: — Kajal and mascara can get smudged in summers, to prevent that, trywater-proof liner, kajal and makeup. For eye shadow, chooses light cream and powdered eye shadow with soft shade, the dark shade should be avoided because if they get smudged, they can make you look terrible.
